Where does Matcha Mate source from?
At Matcha Mate our matcha is sourced directly from trusted farmers and a respected tea company in Japan. We work closely with them to bring you the finest matcha from both the Uji region in Kyoto and Yame in Fukuoka. Carefully selected for its vibrant colour, smooth texture, and rich umami flavour, our matcha supports sustainable farming practices and the craftsmanship of our partners.
How do I store my matcha?
Store in a cool, dry place before and after opening. Always keep container sealed tightly and away from direct light, heat and moisture. Pro Tip: If possible, best kept in the refrigerator to prolong freshness.

What is your shipping policy?
We currently ship Australia-wide with the following shipping options:
Standard Delivery: $10 (2-5 business days)
Express Shipping: $15 (2-3 business days)
Free Express Shipping: Spend over $50 and enjoy free express shipping on your order!
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Please note that shipping times may vary depending on your location.
How do I return or get a refund on my purchase?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you have any concerns, please review our refund policy below:
Matcha Products:
Due to health and safety regulations, matcha products cannot be refunded or exchanged. Once purchased, they are considered final sale as they are food items.
Other Products:
If you are not satisfied with your purchase (excluding matcha products), you may request a refund or exchange within 7 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a refund or exchange, items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
Refund Process:
To request a refund or exchange, please contact us at info@matchamate.com.au with your order number and a description of the issue. We may require you to return the item, and once it is received, we will issue your refund or exchange.
Damaged or Faulty Items:
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. To process your claim, we’ll need you to send multiple clear photos of the damaged item, including packaging and the product itself. Once we have received the necessary photos, we will offer a full refund or replacement at no additional cost.
Shipping Cost:
Shipping fees for returned items are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or damaged.
Sale Items:
Sale items are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged, unless they are faulty or damaged.
